RAPTURE-READY WATCHERS #1

Heaven is not a classless society. Scriptures clearly teach that apart from the requirements for participating in the rapture of the church, there are additional qualities required of those who want to receive special rewards from Jesus Christ. One of them is perfection. To be perfect is to attain the standard set for every born again Christian in his or her Hypostatic Chip. These additional perfection conditions were set out by the Lord in Mt 24:42-47.

Watchfulness
“So be prepared, because you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.” (Mt 24:42 NLT)

Readiness
“You also must be ready all the time. For the Son of Man will come when least expected.” (Mt 24:44 NLT)

Faithfulness
“Who is a faithful, sensible servant, to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his household and feeding his family? (Mt 24:45 NLT)

Fruitfulness
If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward.” (Mt 24:45-46 NLT)

When Jesus presides over the governing council of the world in Jerusalem He will be flanked by those who fulfilled their destiny on earth and rewarded accordingly at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Moses and Elijah, the Special Witnesses during the Tribulation Period will flank Jesus on His right and left respectively. “These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.” (Zech 4:14). Apostles James and John his brother wanted those two positions. “Grant us that we may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on Your left, in Your glory.” But Jesus said to them ‘… to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it is prepared’” (Mk 10:37-40 NKJV).

The Lord’s original Apostles will flank the Lord seating on twelve “that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” (Lk 22:30).

The next two levels pertain to the Priesthood and are available to those who fulfill their assignment by abiding in the Lord to the end. That is what the Lord meant when He said: “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.” (Rev 22:12)
