Focus On Rapture

IT IS FINISHED

IT IS FINISHED

In the mandate of Jesus, there are three finishing points. The first has taken place; there are two more to go.

The first ‘it’s finished’ brought the dispensation of law to a close and at the same time ushered in the current dispensation of grace.  Jesus fulfilled the law that was given by God to the people of Israel by the hand of Moses. Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The declaration by Jesus ‘it’s finished’ should not be taken out of context or presented in a way to suggest that everything God expected Jesus to do is finished.

In a nutshell, the Mandate of Jesus is to seek, save and re-establish lost mankind on earth. The assignment involves two comings to earth, three distinct job descriptions, and spanning three dispensations of Law, Grace and Kingdom. It has three finishing points, one is past and two are future.

The first coming was to pay the price for Adam’s transgression. The second coming is to judge Christians, Jews and Gentile peoples and nations in that order. The third assignment in His second coming is to re-establish the lost kingdom of God on earth rule over it with a rod of iron in order to restitute all things before handing over to God the Father for further action.

Note that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have clearly defined spheres of responsibility traversing all the seven dispensations of man.

For instance:

From eternity past to Gen 2 God the Father was in charge.

From Gen 2 to Acts 1 God the Son was in charge.

From Acts 2 to Rev 3 God the Holy Spirit is in charge.

From Rev 4 to Rev 22 the baton will go back to Jesus Christ.

From Rev 22 to eternity future action will revert back to God the Father. As it is written: “Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him so that God may be all in all.” (1 Cor 15:28 NKJV)

Those who think that because of the first ‘it is finished’ everything has been concluded, the saved has eternally been saved, sin is dead and such other doctrines have not interpreted the scriptures correctly.

Christ’s wedding, which is the permanent joining of Head with the Body, has not taken place. The dispensation of grace will end at the Marriage supper the same day the kingdom age will begin with judgment of Gentiles at the battle of Armageddon and elsewhere Gentiles are found on earth. That is when the second ‘It’s finished’ will be pronounced by Jesus.

Immediately after the battle of Armageddon, Jesus will rescue the remnant Jews from the place they would be divinely hidden to prevent the Beast from exterminating them. That is also when the third and final assignment will begin with Jesus personally presiding over the affairs of the world. It will last for one thousand years.

Jesus will destroy all opposition to God and His kingdom by confining the rebels to a place of permanent punishment. The last battle on planet earth will herald the judgment of the White Throne, after which Jesus will hand over the kingdom to the Ancient of Days who will utter the third and final ‘it is finished.’

The Father will make all things new by creating a new heaven and a new earth with New Jerusalem inbuilt in the new heaven. The re-creation will usher the redeemed of the earth into everlasting peace and joy unspeakable.  “But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Do you love God? Obey His commandments. New Jerusalem is beckoning. The rapture of the church of Jesus Christ is imminent.
