HUMAN BODY AS DIGNIFIED DUST

HUMAN BODY AS DIGNIFIED DUST

Human beings have the tendency of giving extraordinary attention to things that have little or no positive eternal significance. Very sad.

Sometime ago I attended the Service of Songs organized as part of the burial obsequies of a dear friend who had died at a good old age. The service took place in an estate occupied mostly by very wealthy people. The place is popularly known as ‘millionaires’ quarters.’

As should be expected the service was attended by many residents of the estate. They looked radiant, well-fed and materially prosperous, with their smooth skin shinning like the rising sun.

A family of three sat in front of me; husband, wife and child. They were well attired. The madam’s skin glowed so brightly you could see your face as in a reflective mirror. I said in my heart ‘this family is blessed with wellness, see how their skin is shining.’ Immediately, I heard a distinctive voice: ‘Dignified Dust.’

I did not understand what that meant so I decided to search the scriptures. The Lord took me to the Bible account of the origin of man. “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” (Genesis 2:7).

In the creation story the Pre-Incarnate Christ moulded the shape of man with dust, mud and water. The substances used in making the human vessel were already in existence. They came into being when God created the heavens and the earth.

After that the Lord God stepped aside and blew into the nostril of the lifeless mound of clay the “breath of life.” With His breath the Lord God infused two things into the body He formed: innerman comprising soul and spirit and a controller.

Adam was infused with a ‘god’ from God at the beginning. Apostle Peter described this ‘god’ as an Incorruptible Seed. Apostle John called it ‘His seed.’ In this computer age, I prefer the term ‘Hypostatic Chip.’ It was what made Adam and Eve holy, sinless and sons of God.

In the beginning the body of Adam was dignified. It had the capacity to exist forever in a glorified state. The fall of Adam altered the divine arrangement. Every human being on earth today has a controller. It is either a Hypostatic Chip transmitted by the Holy Spirit or a demon planted by Satan.

Although Adam and Eve were created in the image God Cain their firstborn came into this world not in the image of God but in the image of fallen Adam. So, it is for every one of us at natural birth. When Adam sinned, his body was judged. God called Adam ‘dust.’

Many people judge their fellow human beings by outward appearance. ‘This man is handsome’ or ‘this woman is beautiful.’ Some judge by colour, some judge by what one is wearing. By so doing you are dignifying dust. God does not do that.

In 1 Samuel 16:7 it is written: “But the LORD said to Samuel, ‘do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.’” The ‘heart’ as used here is the innerman or inward man.

You are a Christian by reason of the Hypostatic Chip implanted into your spirit at the point of regeneration. You are not a Christian because you have a nice physique, beautiful body, well-toned skin and elegant turnout. These things have their place in human interaction but shall perish one day but your innerman has eternal existence.

The outward man of the saint and the outwardman of the sinner will revert to dust at the end of earthly life. As it is written, “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption” (1 Corinthians 15:50). Jesus said: “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing” (John 6:63).

Unregenerate humanity is concerned with the pleasures of earthly life. The drive is to live long and enjoy life in the flesh. Dignifying the body is the norm. It is part of the three musketeers of destruction: Money, Sex & Power.

On the other hand a Christian should be concerned with rightstanding with God, which flows from the Hypostatic Chip to the innerman. As a Christian, when your focus is on heaven rather than on things of this earth your attitude with many issues of life will resonate with the expectations of God and that ultimately will determine your eternal destination.

Your body is dust. It has no dignity whatsoever in evaluating your final resting place. Whether at physical death or rapture your body will remain here, revert to dust and be burned after the Battle of Gog and Magog to become part of the molten material that will be used as the floor of the lake of fire.

Are you born again? Are you in daily expectation of the second coming of Christ? Do you know that the next event in the divine agenda is the rapture of the church of Jesus Christ?

It is disastrous to end one’s existence on earth as a ‘dignified dust’ with no hope of eternal life for the innerman. Therefore, be sure you are being reborn again to ensure eligibility to participate in the rapture of the church.

Time is short. Act now.

Maranatha!
