GOD’S WILL

GOD’S WILL

Mt 16:18 “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. (NKJV)  The only way to establish and run the church of Jesus Christ is by divine revelation and not by personal sanction or denominational fiat.

The church of Jesus Christ is comprised of those infused with Hypostatic Chips. They are those called out to form a new group of people on earth from the Jewish and Gentiles groups.

In the economy of heaven only the Holy Spirit can plant Hypostatic Chips in the spirit of willing human vessels. Even Jesus could not do that while on earth. That accounts for His telling His disciples when He was ready to return to heaven to wait for the arrival of the Holy Spirit.

“It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.” (John 16:7 NKJV)

The Holy Spirit is the sole authority in establishing and running of churches. In contemporary times, many people are building the church for the Lord. It’s dangerous to presume to be wiser than God.

There are many organizations called ‘church’ that the Holy Spirit is not involved in at all. You can do the right thing the wrong way. God is very strict in His ways. We do not work for God; we work with Him according to His set standards.

What made Moses a mighty man of God was not the miracles he performed. It was that he knew the mind of God. “He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel” (Ps 103:7).

The people of Israel were fascinated with the miracles of God in the land of Ham but only Moses sought to know His mind on every issue. That was pleasing to God because it is a sign of meekness.

The original apostles so pleased God that the sacred records command followers of Christ to imitate them. We cannot do less.

Obedience is the key to becoming like Christ. Half-obedience can be disastrous. Disobedience is as the sin of witchcraft. Under the new covenant that somebody can disobey God and stand on his feet is because of Jesus. In the OT it was not so.

Nadab and Abihu died for offering strange fire sacrifice God did not order.  Even their father Aaron was ordered not to mourn their death. It’s unwise to kindle God’s anger.

King Saul a Benjamite lost his crown and life for offering a sacrifice only Priests from the tribe of Levi were authorised to offer. His end was terrible.

Uzzah was a good man but his ‘goodness’ led to his sudden death because he ignored God’s instructions on how to handle the Ark of the Covenant.

Uzziah became king of Judah at the age of sixteen. Initially his fidelity made his kingdom prosperous. When he became established He ignored God and His commandments. Contrary to the ceremonial Law he presumed to offer incense at the Temple and was smitten with leprosy on the spot. As a leper he lived a secluded life until he died.

Our God is a God of order; He plans everything in advance. He is very objective and follows the prescribed pattern even when it hurts Him as a Person.

If you are engaged in ‘church’ as a business venture or as a means of solving the problem of unemployment or underemployment, reconsider your ways. Take heed to yourself. Time is of the essence.

If Jesus allowed the Holy Spirit to do what He was assigned to do by God the Father in eternity past, you too should allow the Holy Spirit to determine precisely how and where to establish His church and how to run it.

Your role should be to obey His voice. Obedience is better than sacrifice. If he has not called you the time to quit is now.

A word is enough for the wise.
